Here are the 12 most frequently asked questions in preparation for the rental of your apartment.

1. Reception opening times / Key handover:

The keys of the appartements will be available at our reception 'Accueil Valmeinier Reservation' from 5pm on saturday Residence Avenir 1, on the Tourist Office Square in Valmeinier 1800, next to 'Valmeinier Sport'.

Our reception opening times during winter season
Monday and Thursday : from 9am to 10.30am and from 4pm to 6pm.
Tuesday and Wednesday : from 9am to 10.30am.
Friday: from 9am to 12.30am and from 2pm to 6pm.
Saturday : from 8am to 12.30am and from 3.30pm to 7pm,
Sunday: from 9am to 12.30am and from 2pm to 6pm.

Our reception opening times during summer season
Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 9am to 12:30pm and from 1:30pm to 5:30pm.
Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday : closed
Saturday from 8:30am to 12 and from 2pm to 6pm.

Out of season from Monday to Friday
From 8:30am to 12.30pm and from 1.30pm to 5.30pm.

In case of late arrival : You just need to call us at the phone number 0033 (0)4 79 59 25 34 and we will inform you how to pick up your keys.

2. Booking fees?

Yes, the amount of 30€ is added when you book your stay.

3. Are bed linen and towels provided?

No but you can hire on arrival or reserve in advance, bed linen 9€/bed and towels (one bath and one hand towel) 6€/kit. Disposable undersheets provided on arrival. Tea towels not included.

4. May we hire a travel cot ?

Yes, directly through our services and preferably in advance, 20€/week.

5. Is there a laundrette ?

Yes, at Valmeinier 1800 only

6. Is there a television in the apartment ?

All the apartments have a television, without extra charge. 

7. Do you accept animals ?

Yes they are accepted without extra charge in some apartments. NB. NOT ALL OWNERS ACCEPT ANIMALS IN THEIR APARTMENTS, it is imperative to inform us when you make your reservation.

8. Should we pay the holiday tax on our arrival ?

No, it has been included in the rental of your apartment and is therefore already paid for, this will speed up the formalities on your arrival.
The tax is 0.90, 1.40 and 1.80€/day/person depending on your apartment type.

9. How much is the deposit ?

300€/apartment, 500€/chalet, an imprint of your credit card will be taken. It will be destroyed or returned to you following the control of your apartment and providing there have been no costs incurred.

10. Should we clean the apartment before our departure ?

Yes, cleaning is not included in the rental price, you must leave the apartment cleaned.

But of course you can pay an end of stay cleaning at your arrival or during your online booking. Please check the prices on 'Extra Services: end of stay cleaning' (service only available during winter season)

11. Where can I park my car ?

There is free, uncovered parking within reasonable distances of all the apartments.

12. We would like to have ski lessons, how do we book ?

You can contact the French Ski School (Ecole de ski Francais ESF) either by telephone : +33 (0) 479 592 370,or you can reserve your lessons directly by internet : www.esf-valmeinier.com

13. Is there a nursery for children ?

- 'La Galipette 1' accepts children from 3 months to 10 years old.
Situated in 'Roche Malotte Residence', Valmeinier 1850.
- 'La Galipette 2' accepts children from 3 to 9 years old.
Situated in 'Maison de Valmeinier', Valmeinier 1800.

14. How can I pay my booking ?

If you book online you will be asked to pay by credit card, if you call us you will be allowed to pay by creditcard or bank transfert.
